Manchester Born and Bred

Today's speaker was Pam Murgatroyd who stepped in at the last minute but who gave an entertaining and informative talk about "Manchester born and bred".

She recalled her personal experiences of living her early and later years around Manchester after the war and illustrated memories with poetry and humour. She recalled the joy of meeting Peter in Oldham and their subsequent move to Meltham in 2007.

She ended by describing their involvement with the village and in particular the Parish hall and the church and related projects that have benefited our community.
