Today’s speaker was our own Alan Starkey who gave an audio visual presentation on “numbers”.

He described his background and education in mathematics and magneticohydronomics.

He stressed how numbers are part of our world from an early age and essential to modern living.

He talked about the crucial number zero, infinite numbers both up and down, perfect numbers, prime numbers   and some weird as well as rational numbers.
