Rosenbauer, Meltham

Today’s speaker was Oliver North from a local company “Rosenbauer” who produce complex fire fighting vehicles and are part of  an international company.

He gave an audio visual talk describing how as a local Meltham boy he went into the military 1998-2004 and enjoyed a successful career leaving as a corporal.

He started his own company selling fireman’s helmets in premises at Brockholes  and then developed the business to its current position as a leading company producing sophisticated fire fighting vehicles.

He then answered questions from members who had clearly found the subject interesting.
