Whistle-stop Tour of England and Wales

Today’s speaker was Mr Roy Cressey who gave an anticlockwise audio visual whistle stop tour of England and Wales along with his personal memories at each stop.

Beginning at the Humber Bridge we were taken slowly and anticlockwise from the water Lillie centre at Pocklington up to Berwick, through the Lake District down via Wales to Cornwall a meander along the south coast and a fleeting visit to London.

We ended visiting the Bernard Mathews life boat and arriving at the Riverhead viaduct and Sowerby Bridge feeling dizzy, well-travelled but enlightened in so many ways.
